Properties:
Ammonium sulfate is a white crystalline or granular substance, odorless with a salty taste.
It has a relative density of 1.77, is easily soluble in water, but insoluble in ethanol and ether.
It decomposes when heated to about 280°C. It is known for its good stability, low hygroscopicity, and ease of storage and transportation.
